The other day, I decided to go to a summer resort and returned to my hometown in the Tohoku region.
I was naive to think that it would be cooler up north. It was less humid than Tokyo, but it was still extremely hot. If you know of any cool places in Japan right now, please let me know.
Well, the Autumn/Winter season started in stores last week, and new items have been arriving one after another since then. This time, I'm introducing an item that I've been looking forward to. So let's get enthusiastic and introduce it to you!
This is a Thermo Hat that has been well received by everyone every season. Some of you may be wondering, "What is a Thermo Hat?" so let me give you a quick explanation. This hat is excellent at maintaining its shape by using a material called Thermo yarn that has been heated. In fact, when people try it on in store, the first thing they often say is, "It has a beautiful shape!"
The next thing I like about it is how lightweight it is. I've had enough of summer clothes, and I'm starting to think about autumn and winter items. But it's just too hot. I'm starting to think about light outerwear and thin knitwear, and I'm also interested in voluminous knit hats. But it's still hot and humid in Japan. It looks like it'll be a while before I can actually wear one...
That was a long introduction, but this thermo hat is lightweight even though it's called an Autumn/Winter hat! In other words, you can wear it right away. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fresh look but isn't sure what to get.
Here we will introduce the styling of our staff.
The moderate openwork knitting makes it completely light and easy to style with summer outfits.
Of course, it pairs well with shorts now that it's so hot. I also recommend pairing it with a slightly sporty item. I like to add the N-1247 Grosgrain Ribbon (sold separately) to give it a more modern look. By the way, the intentionally frayed texture gives it a more three-dimensional look than previous thermo hats, and it looks even better with simple styling.
We also have a knit cap from the same series as the hat. We've been putting a lot of effort into the Thermo Hat, but this one is just as recommended.
In particular, in our store, the knitted hats we put out at the start of the Autumn/Winter season often sell out quickly. I think a lot of people think that the volume that isn't seen in summer is fresh and cute! Like the hats, this one also has a deliberately frayed look, and the slightly thick volume is irresistible.
I feel like I've talked too much since this is the beginning of the event, but these are some of my favorite items that I can confidently recommend. These two items are available in stores from today, August 9th (Sat). They will be available online from 7:00 PM on the same day. During the long summer, why not add a hat to your styling to freshen things up, as it can get a little stale.
