Wide wale corduroy logo cap
Hello!
This is Masuda from Nine Tailor shop.
I had a long weekend the other day, so I went to visit my grandmother who lives in Aomori.
As soon as I left the station I thought, "Huh, it's cool," but about five minutes later I was saying it was hot, as usual...there was no escape from the Japanese summer.
My grandmother is over 90 years old and is exactly what you would imagine a grandmother to be. She has always been the type to communicate things directly.
I was often told that stirring natto is messy, but even as a child I remember thinking, "So then, what's the correct way to eat it?"
When I met her for the first time in a while, she was stirring like crazy. Apparently she said on TV that the more you stir, the better. It's so cute.
She's a tsundere type of person who doesn't show her emotions much, but when I gave her this season's hand-knitted cotton hat, she checked herself in the mirror over and over and said, "No 90-year-old would wear such a stylish hat!" It's so cute.
That's my heartwarming story.
Now to the main topic!
This time we would like to introduce the N-1501 / Woodruff Cap, which will be on sale from Monday, September 1st.

Although the design and shape may vary, our logo-embroidered caps are always well-received.
I've wanted to tell everyone about this for a long time, so I'm filled with the feeling that it's finally happening!
This fabric is dyed, woven, and finished by hand by artisans with unique techniques from the Enshu region in western Shizuoka Prefecture.
First, impurities adhering to the natural material are removed to allow the dye to be absorbed evenly, and then a small amount is carefully dyed by hand. This is what leads to the unique, vibrant colors.
To preserve the natural look after dyeing, the fabric is dried in the sun to give it a plump, soft appearance.
Furthermore, we wash the product after production to give it a vintage look. By going through these processes, the product has an appearance that looks like it has been used from the very beginning.

The balance between the handwritten embroidered logo and the carefully crafted thick corduroy fabric is exquisite, and I want it in every color.

It looks great when worn to match the traditional feel of the hat, but personally I also love pairing it with a slightly more elegant style as a highlight.

This is a fun item to style to match the logo and fabric color.

The handwritten logo is cute and has just the right amount of casualness, but the fabric itself has a slight sheen, so even if you just throw it on and pair it with casual outfits, it will still have an elegant look.
Have you all decided on the color you want? You can choose based on the color of the logo, the color of the fabric, or even the logo design. It can be difficult to decide, but the moment of choosing is the most fun. I hope this was helpful. I chose D. Grey, which has the word HOPEFUL written on it.
Well, see you later.
