Hello! This is Chiba from Nine Tailor shop. 

It's been a bit chilly lately, hasn't it? As someone who's not good with cold weather, I'm really looking forward to the arrival of spring. Even so, the cherry blossom lanterns have started to line the Meguro River again this year, and my heart leaps with joy at the thought of cherry blossom season. Lately, I've been commuting while admiring the names on these lanterns.  

And now, for an event announcement that I'm sure many of you have been eagerly awaiting! We will be holding an event with glassblower Kohei Komaki again this year!

 

It will be held for two days on March 28th (Sat) and March 29th (Sun), 2026!

 

 

This will be the third time the event is held in spring, and I'm personally very excited to hold Mr. Komaki's event alongside the arrival of cherry blossoms.

 

This time too, "Pekori" glasses in cherry blossom pink are scheduled to arrive. The soft and gentle cherry blossom color makes you want to gaze at them forever, and wine would taste even more delicious in them. In addition to cherry blossom pink, we will also have black Pekori glasses! This will be the first time we offer black, and compared to the clear and cherry blossom pink, it has a slightly chic atmosphere. I'm really looking forward to seeing the contrast when arranged with other colors.

 

 

Also, as noted in the information at the end of the blog, when purchasing Mr. Komaki's works, your in-store stay will be limited to 30 minutes. Since no two pieces are exactly alike, I hope you'll take your time to choose, enjoying the differences in each one's expression. I'll occasionally join you to offer suggestions like, "This one might be better for this reason," and I'd love to help you choose.

 

 And to reiterate, Nine Tailor shop sells hats! Of course, we'll have a wide selection of hats available on the day of the event. You can certainly browse hats after purchasing Mr. Komaki's works! There are no time restrictions in the hat area, so please feel free to take your time trying them on.

 

 By late March, the sunlight starts to become a concern.

We have knit hats with a sheer feel that are easy to wear even in warm weather, as well as UV-treated hats and caps. We also have styles that are easy for people who don't usually wear hats to incorporate. We hope you'll take this opportunity to take a look.

 

There are only 10 days left until the event.I use Mr. Komaki's Cozy glasses every day, and just seeing them on the table fills me with a warm, fuzzy feeling because of their lovely rounded shape. Even when I'm quite full, I can't stop pouring beer into them. It's truly amazing to create works that color ordinary daily life, and I hope more people can experience that feeling, and that the works reach as many hands as possible. I'm looking forward to the day. Mr. Komaki is also scheduled to be present on the first day, so please look forward to that as well.

Having said that, I'm very sorry to say that on the first day, until 5:00 PM, only those who have purchased an online ticket will be able to enter.

✔️Regarding reservation tickets: 【Sold Out】

*Sales will begin on the Nine Tailor online store from 12:00 PM on March 20th (Fri). (There is no charge for the ticket)

 

*Even if you make a reservation to visit, your desired items may sell out quickly. We will post updates on Instagram stories as needed, but please make your reservation with this understanding.

 

*Time slots are set every 30 minutes.

Example: If you purchase a slot from 12:00 to 12:30, that will be your allocated time for being in the store. Please complete your shopping and payment within 30 minutes. The last online ticket reservation slot is 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM. After that, we plan to allow free entry.

 

*If multiple people plan to visit, one representative should purchase a ticket, and please arrive together on the day.

 

*You will be asked to show your payment completion email upon entry.
