I've been really into reading lately, and I go to the bookstore every week, buying a little more each time. But don't you think bookstores are hot?
Looking around, everyone else seems to be browsing leisurely, and I'm quite envious. I'm always walking around with my jacket and a towel in hand, so I'm not sure if I'm going to choose books or to detox.
Now, let's get to the main topic!
This time, I'd like to introduce our popular logo cap, the N-1613 / Woodbury Cap!
It was corduroy in autumn and winter, but this time it's back in a cotton-linen fabric!
There are many times when you want a vintage item, but the sizing is just subtly different from what you imagined, and it feels like "almost there," doesn't it?
This is especially true for caps. Even if you like the design, you might find the silhouette too tight when you wear it, or the fabric might be worn out and bumpy, making it the most difficult item to choose.
This cap solves all those "almost there" moments!
While retaining a vintage feel, we've adjusted the balance of details such as the brim length, curve, and moderately relaxed crown, making the overall silhouette subtly modern and easy to wear!
This vintage feel is achieved through a washing process called ball bio-processing!
Hats, enzymes, water, and balls are put into a rotating drum and spun.
The enzymes break down the fuzz on the surface without damaging the fabric itself, resulting in a softer and smoother feel compared to regular one-wash or stone-wash.
Furthermore, as the balls beat and knead the fabric, the brim's edge and seams are subtly faded, creating a natural worn-in look. From the moment you put it on, it feels like you've been wearing it for ages, giving birth to an authentic vintage feel!
Blue is perhaps the easiest to understand! You can wear it as if you're "raising" denim, so wear it often and cultivate your own unique color.
Paired with a light, thin flannel shirt.
This shirt is vintage, so it has a worn-out feel, and the faded look of the cap goes perfectly with vintage clothing.
This time, I paired it with a swing top, but I think it would also look great with a denim jacket right now! It's expensive and out of my reach, but I want a 1st type. (Aspirations)
It looks cute when paired with similar saturation, or you can add a touch of freshness and seasonality with a pastel color as an accent!
By the way, after much deliberation, I wanted to add a spring-like accent color, so I bought this Pale Pink one.
It's very useful because pairing a light pink with a slightly rugged color like black creates a nice relaxed feel. It surprisingly goes well with various colors like olive, beige, and gray, so I enjoy thinking about what to pair it with every day!
Subtly pairing a logo cap as an accent with earthy or muted colors is also a great point.
It's already almost March next week.
The sudden rise in temperature makes it feel like spring, and my desire to shop is growing. Lately, I'm really in the mood for camouflage and leopard print, so I plan to visit vintage clothing stores around Yoyogi on my next day off.
Some colors might sell out this month, so if you're undecided, now's the time to get it!
