Attention to detail + ease of use
Hello everyone! This is Masuda from Nine Tailor Shop .
Before you know it, it's already the end of the year. Just a few more sleeps and this year will be over.
What kind of year was 2025 for you? I'm already looking forward to ozoni and rice cakes with lots of soybean flour, so I'm already feeling like it's 2026.
This time we'd like to introduce new products from StitchandSew, which we've been selecting for the past two years! *Sales will begin on Sunday, January 4th, 2026.
First, let me introduce StitchandSew again!
This Osaka-based brand was founded in 2006 with the idea of reinterpreting everyday items, bags and other leather goods to suit modern lifestyles. The products are designed with the situations in which they are needed in mind, so ease of use is condensed into even the smallest details !

This product is made from Himeji leather, which is one of Japan's three major leather production areas.

It's compact enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but it can hold a surprising amount! You can put bills in without folding them, and each card pocket can hold 2-3 cards, for a total of 4-6 cards!

If you look closely at the photo, you'll see that the edges of the pocket where you put the bills are not sewn on. It's easy to take out and put out, which is great. Everyone has probably experienced that "Oh no, there's a 1,000 yen note stuck in here" phenomenon, but now you can say goodbye to that.
The small purse (Himeji leather) made from the same material is also cute.

Perfect for a break at work or when you're just going out. Just holding it in your hand makes you look good.

You can put coins, keys, cards, etc. inside the clasp on the inside.
There are two inner pockets, so you can choose one for bills (bifold) and cards, and the other for coins and other items, depending on your convenience.
The inside is made of vegetable tanned cowhide leather, so you can enjoy the aging process!

Next up is the L-zip wallet (small) (Himeji leather) that can be worn around the neck or shoulder.
The leather cord does not have any adjustment tools, so you can tie it at any position to adjust it to your desired length.

This is a great item that can be used as an accent in your styling just by putting it on.

The leather cord is removable, so you can use it as a regular wallet.

Bills can be stored around the coin compartment in the center, making it easy to access with one hand. Cards and folded bills can also be stored on both sides.

Finally, here is the one I'd like to introduce.
Highly recommended for those who want to grow their own style.

Small L-zip wallet (Vacchetta leather)
By the way, these are currently on sale:

The 'Vacchetta' method does not use any chemicals, but instead tans the leather with vegetable tannins such as mimosa or chestnut, and then uses beef tallow, fish oil, or plant-derived oils, allowing the oils to soak right through to the core over time.
The entire process takes about two months, and the best thing about vachetta leather is that it changes over time! With use, it becomes uniquely yours! The oil inside gradually seeps out to the surface, creating a beautiful luster and shine. Also, the tannins oxidize when exposed to air, gradually darkening and deepening the color, so the more you use it, the more beautiful it becomes.
This is my last blog of the year, so I'm excited and it ended up being a bit long.
It's a little early, but thank you so much for this year!
We look forward to your continued support of Nine Tailor shop next year. And Masuda too.
Have a happy new year!
