I can't do it today.
Hello! This is Chiba from Nine Tailor shop .
Happy New Year everyone! We look forward to your continued support of Nine Tailor shop this year.
The shop was closed over the New Year holidays, so for about a week I only did the bare minimum of what a human being should do: eat, drink, and sleep. It took me a while to get back to normal after the new year.
Well, starting with this blog, I would like to finally introduce the 2026 SS items! It's already that time of year. If you think it's still cold, don't worry. We have items in materials that you can wear right now, so don't worry.
Here's what I'd like to introduce today.
Embroidered baseball cap.

The most distinctive feature is the handwritten embroidery. What does it say?
The middle one says "Out of order" and the surrounding text says "Not possible today."
That happens sometimes, doesn't it? I'm sure there are many people who feel that way, especially around this time of year, right after the New Year. What I personally like about this piece is the exquisite handwriting and relaxed nature of the content. The content is a little demotivating, but the silhouette is a baseball cap style that everyone will love, and it does an incredibly good job.

The fabric is a heavy twill made from cotton and linen, which has a smooth texture. Heavy twill is a thick and durable twill weave. It is characterized by its thickness and durability, and while it has a firm texture similar to denim, it also has a unique three-dimensional feel and a luxurious feel.
*Twill fabric: Diagonal ridges appear on the surface of the fabric. It is stretchy, supple, and wrinkle-resistant.
By the way, this item is dyed by hand using traditional methods at a dyeing factory in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and dried in the sun to create a dry, wrinkled look. The slightly worn, tasteful look is something you can only get from something that is made by hand. I'm sure there are many people who love the balance between the coolness of this fabric and the lettering. Also, although it is made of cotton linen, another nice point is that since it is mainly cotton, the crispness of the linen is not too strong. It is a perfect material that can be worn all year round.

And if you turn this hat inside out, you'll be surprised. The inside of the placket is lined with mesh! Not only does it create a perfect silhouette, but you can also wear it with the top part slightly flattened. This is a recommended way to wear it for those who like a street-style look. Also, the mesh placket near the forehead prevents heat and moisture from building up, preventing stuffiness, so it's highly functional.

It goes without saying that the baseball cap pairs well with the classic, sporty look. The silhouette is also beautiful when viewed from the side.

The staff, including myself, seem to like pairing it with loose sweatshirts and dresses. The exquisite texture of this heavy twill fabric makes it easy to balance out relaxed styles.

These caps are only available in limited quantities, and some customers have already purchased them in different colors. So there aren't many left! These cotton linen baseball caps can be worn for a long time, so be sure to consider getting one soon!
It's the first day of the new year, and Chiba feels like his fingers are swelling as he types on the keyboard...
This year too, I would like to work hard to get as many people as possible to see my blog! Finally, here is a Patagonia beer that I bought at our sister store, noook. It was a delicious pale ale with a strong flavor.

If you're ever in Nakameguro, be sure to check out Nine Tailor as well! See you next time!
