Nine Tailor straw hat

I spend each day hoping that tomorrow will be cooler than today, and before I know it, it's July. That means it's hot today and tomorrow. The moment I was eating ice cream with a friend after work and talking about how it still didn't feel like summer, was the beginning of my summer.
Until now, I've been posting about events here, but from now on I'd like to write about products and everyday life as well!
So, here is the first commemorative installment! The straw hat is my summer companion.
Not only does it have a summery look, but it's also incredibly functional.
The name "Straw Hat" comes from the English word "Straw " (wheat, a straw used for drinking). As the name suggests, the wheat is straw-shaped ( hollow inside ) , so it blocks heat while providing ventilation.
However, pressing the wheat during the manufacturing process crushes it and reduces its effectiveness.
The craftsmen carefully shape each hat one by one without pressing it, which is why these straw hats are completed with a beautiful appearance and good ventilation.
I have an N-711/Lantana hat , and since I get very sensitive to heat, I use it every day during the summer. I get so sensitive to heat that people often ask me, "Are you sweating after eating cold Chinese noodles?" If you look closely at this photo, you can see that I'm holding a towel. Even when I sweat, the air escapes and it doesn't get stuffy, so it's comfortable to wear. I'm really grateful to the craftsmen.
Black outfits, which tend to have a heavy impression, can instantly be made cool and summery by simply wearing a straw hat. The N-711 / Lantana hat has a wide brim, so it goes perfectly with loose-fitting pants, shorts, and, for women, skirts and dresses. The separately sold NT-1246 / Silk Braid Cord , We also recommend adding N-1247 / Grosgrain Ribbon to change the look.

From the depth of the crown to the length of the brim, everything is exquisite. I would definitely recommend this hat to anyone who likes a classic look and just the right size. It's easy to put on and goes with anything. Personally, this year I'm planning to wear it with a vintage T-shirt and plain slacks.
